Emerson Process Management® POC and DeltaV (DVOP)

Use iFix as your MMI!

With our conversion service we are able to take existing
Provue and OWP graphics and convert them to Intellution's iFix
MMI. This migration has the following benefits:

Leverage the power of iFix with it's built-in VBA scripting
capabilities
Easily connect Process Data to external databases like Batch
control or Production data
. Integrate PI and iHistorian data onto your graphics. Have
more sources for support. With Intellution's Integrator program
you are guaranteed to have more choices for support services.
Connect external documents into your graphics like Excel,
Word or Autocad. Easily connect other controllers like PLCs to
iFix without going through Provox. This provides an alternative
migration path for future plant expansions in that new process
control can be easily integrated with this system without having
to upgrade or replace existing Provox hardware.
Replace your EIC and IDI cards by using the pass-through
capabilities of iFix. And iFix is redundant.
Service Overview

Our service is simple. We take your existing Envox
configuration and create:

Driver configuration
Database points
Users
Historical Collection Configuration
Graphics
These are tested and verified in our office then delivered and
setup at your site. All this is done in conjunction with a local
Integrator in your area. They will be responsible for the system
once we have it up and running. That way you get a turnkey
service with local support.

General Electric/Intellution iFix®

Our screen layout in iFix includes 4 areas:

Process Area - This is where the custom process graphics are
located.
Header - Has access to global buttons like Login, Trends, Open
Graphic, etc...
Alarm Banner - Shows the top alarms based on Priority and
acknowledgment state.
Instrument Area - This is the currently selected point and
allows setpoint changes, etc..
We have developed custom Instrument Areas (IA) for each
point type. An alarm bar allows point-and-click access to
screens and IAs. The header

Drivers

Intellution is connected to your Provox Highway through a
traditional HDL or SIU. The communication driver can be either
the TiPS' Prodirect OPC Server or a CHIP OPC Server. Both
efficiently serve up data to iFix.
